Our Firm
Alex’s journey in the hospitality industry began early, growing up at his family’s hotel in Mendocino, California. This hands-on upbringing laid a strong foundation for a career that has spanned more than 20 years in hotel development.
Before founding Pacific Peak, Alex served as Senior Vice President at AJ Capital Partners, where he was instrumental in expanding the firm’s West Coast portfolio. He led strategy and execution for all hospitality development initiatives, including Graduate Hotels, Field & Stream Lodge Co., and a range of independent adaptive reuse projects.
Prior to his role at AJ Capital, Alex was a Senior Director at RLJ Lodging Trust where he managed capital expenditures across the REIT’s national portfolio and contributed to the acquisition of FelCor Lodging Trust in 2017. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President at Highgate Hotels, overseeing large-scale renovation projects across the country.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Science from Santa Clara University and a Master’s degree from the University of San Francisco.
